• Worldwide evolutions and events show that monitoring and managing crowds has become crucial. Just think of increasing urbanisation, the rise of mega-events and the Covid 19 pandemic. At the same time, there is a growing concern for privacy, resulting in ethical debates and, ultimately, appropriate legislation. With our solutions, we can balance both.

• Crowdscan was born in June 2020 and is a spin-off of IMEC and the University of Antwerp (UAntwerp), both leading institutes with academic fundaments. We have developed technologies that seamlessly combine all required properties in a unique way: accurate measurements with real-time processing, with respect for privacy and without intrusion of personal devices. All this on a scientific and evidence-based basis.
